ERMC students come from a wide variety of locations, backgrounds and church traditions. Here is a snap shot of some past stories and responses to the shared journey of training. We look forward to welcoming you and having your story join our tale.

I am following the MA route. My paid work is at Addenbrooke's Hospital, where I am the Head of Audiology, and I have found that meeting the needs of family, work and ERMC has been a challenge, but do-able. The strengths of ERMC are the rich diversity of the community, and the high quality of leadership.

As a Methodist at ERMC, I really enjoy the diversity of worship and community life.  I love being part of a group that works on the principles of respect and hospitality. There are challenges and joys, yet you can rely on being supported and encouraged by those around you, both staff and students.

ERMC is an amazing community where gifted and dedicated staff enable diversity of tradition and practice to be welcomed and encouraged; where each individual is affirmed and nurtured for their particular ministry and where flexibility of study modes is celebrated.  We also have loads of fun too!

I value learning with people from very varied traditions of the church, as it means that my encounters with different interpretations and perspectives are not hypothetical but held by people I have come to know and respect. Thus my engagement with theology and worship can be deep and real, although not always comfortable!
I am Pioneer Ordinand in the Norwich Diocese and would describe myself as a contemplative, postevangelical, sacramental, protestant, questioning, informal Anglo-catholic... (whatever that is!)
